ALl in sweet time has made the final round in the Australian folk music awards for 'debut album of the year'
We are thrilled to annouce that Dan Cully's first album has received this nomation, making into the top 5 debut albums of 2026. The winner will be annouced at the awards night on the 21st of October at Brunswick Ballroom.

All In Sweet Time is the debut album from Melbourne indie folk artist Dan Cully, a collection of songs shaped by the natural world, the rhythms of life, and the inner landscapes we move through.
Blending earthy acoustic textures with soaring vocals, guitar, harmonica, didgeridoo and foot percussion, the album moves between intimate reflection and uplifting, foot tapping folk. Across the record, Dan explores belonging, transformation, resilience, love, surrender and the quiet wisdom that can emerge through life’s changing seasons.
There is an intentional duality to All In Sweet Time. On the surface, the songs carry the warmth and accessibility of feel good, easy listening folk, while beneath that lies a poetic and spiritual depth. The songs explore what it means to live with greater conviction, to loosen our grip on what we cannot control, and to find acceptance within the uncertainty and challenges of being human.
Inspired by both the vastness of the Australian landscape and Dan’s own inner journey, the album ultimately speaks to trusting the unfolding of life, allowing things to arrive, change and reveal themselves all in sweet time.
Since its release, the album has received nationwide radio support, with more than 300+ radio plays across Australia and over 182,000 streams. All In Sweet Time was also named a finalist for Best Debut Contemporary Folk Album at the 2026 Australian Folk Music Awards.
The album was recorded with Tom Fitzgerald, Benji Pocock and Roger Bergodaz, and mastered by Nic Barnshaw.
